How exactly did this guy get his nickname?

I think Divecchio is a stooge, but I can't see that Buzz is much better.

Besides, Erie needs more African American representatives. That would shake things up.

How about Barry Grossman

Is he black?

No, but judging by his last name, he might be Jewish...is that minority-centric enough?

Are Jews effective politicians?

I know that Lieberman guy can't seem to make up his mind.

Don't you need to be Roman or WASP to be an effective politician?

Maybe that's just a stereotpye...

I don't know- Barry pulled out the win last night (once again, I'll state I have no idea of his ethnic/religious background, but it really didn't seem to matter, as I think he is a fairly well-respected politician and local influencer. I've heard a lot of people say a lot of good things about him, and despite the fact that he doesn't even live in the city and everyone knew it, he ran a close second for mayor a four years back.) The paper called it an upset, but based on how well Barry did when he ran for mayor a few years back, I really wasn't that surprised. Plus, I think Buzz dragged Divecchio down without really elevating himself - so the natural beneficiary was Barry. Anyhow, congrats Barry!
